We’re not from Tyler, but after trying several local restaurants, this one stood out as one of the best.

Been in search of a goooood Mexican restaurant since oct 2021 here in Tyler (I’m Latina and from Chicago where there’s an authentic Mexican restaurant on every... read more Been in search of a goooood Mexican restaurant since oct 2021 here in Tyler (I’m Latina and from Chicago where there’s an authentic Mexican restaurant on every corner) so it’s pretty hard to find a place that compares ? but THIS PLACE ??? so delicious! I ordered the Doblados (Birria carne asada tacos) with rice and beans and it was phenomenal. I was taken back by the cost of the meal but once I tried the food I realized I didn’t mind the cost when the flavor is this so so good! I’ve been to lots of Mexican places out here in Tyler (Mexico Lindo, don juans (both locations) jalapeño tree, villa Montez and the montez) just to name a few and while some of those places has a decent carne asada plate, honestly nothing compares to this! TRY THEM! Also note that it seems the place is run by teenagers but they have visited the table multiple times to see if we needed anything. great service and even better food!
