We were there for the first time yesterday, and it's really over my expectations. The food was delicious, the service was great. We will definitely return and try other dishes on our next adventure to Tyler. I recommend going here if you need good food. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Poch's Rice Café:
The ambience is poor. Maybe when to take it? Steamed dumplings are definitely not made in the house. The Kung Pao chicken was okay. Sauce was a little thin. Low Mein was bland and tasted more like cooked noodles. My wife loved Yew Shong pork and rice. The atmosphere was lacking. I'm not sure when would be the best time to visit. The steamed dumplings definitely didn’t seem to be made in-house. The Kung Pao chicken was decent, but the sauce was a bit too thin for my liking. The Lo Mein was quite bland and tasted more like plain cooked noodles. However, my wife really enjoyed the Yew Shong pork and rice. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order seemed more interested in chatting with the staff than paying attention to the customers. Additionally, she appeared rushed when we were in a hurry. Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend this place.

I've been eating here since they opened, and in my opinion, they are the best Chinese restaurant in town! The location leaves a lot to be desired and it's definitely not a fancy place for a date night, but the food is great! I usually get take-out from them. They do have the best egg rolls in town!

Absolutely amazing food. My picky eater daughter gives it a thumbs up!! The staff is friendly and the environment is very inviting. Dine in or take I give this place 100% need to try.

Service was very fast and polite. Ordered small egg drop soup and combination fried rice (beef,chicken, shrimp). Egg droup seemed a little cloudy but overall was very good. My rice was also very good, texture of rice was excellent, balance of veggies and meats was also very well prepared. I will definitely be coming back very soon to try the other items on their menu!

Very friendly and speedy service. Enjoyed the sweet and sour shrimp and fried rice. They give hefty portions. Great food!
