Marco's Pizza - Tyler

This was our first time using Marco’s. Ordered a pickup order to be picked up at 3:05 today. I arrived at 3:00. All I kept hearing from the employees was how short handed they were (which they were) and one young man actually told a lady customer to her face when she walked in the door kinda upset after she had been sitting in her car in the parking lot for almost an hour that “those pick up times don’t mean anything to us because we are so short handed and we are way behind”. WOW! That’s probably truthful, but probably not the best thing to say. Our order was correct. Our food was good, but not super great. My wife’s pizza bowl was a hair under done as they were just slinging orders fast and trying to get them out the door. I live about 10 minutes from Marco’s but 2 minutes from Domino’s where we have always gone up till now. My mistake. Stick with what you know, I guess.

Marcos is always my pizza go to in Tyler! The quality and taste is top notch compared to those other places. Also, Sal at this location is awesome and so welcoming. You can absolutely tell he loves his job and puts his heart into the pizzas.

My husband and I usually order pick up but opted for delivery tonight.....bad choice!! I placed the order on the app and then called to add a couple garlic dipping sauces.When we do pick up they will throw in a couple extra for free! Not a problem!So when I call, the person answers the phone extremely rude!!! I explained why I was calling and then he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't add any of the garlic sauce for free.....so are you saying that I could have added them if I was paying? Hmmm ?We also ordered a couple sodas to drink with our pizza. Wrong choice again....they were hot and weren't cold until well after we finished eating.We love the pizza but will consider other pizza place options! Come on Marcos management....step it up!! Train and employ decent, hardworking people!!!!

The pizza used to be really good, the quality seems to have diminished over timeThere are other pizza joints that are comparable in price and excel in quality

We eat here with the family and it’s always an amazing experience
