Lola's has carved a niche as a beloved local sandwich spot, showcasing an eclectic atmosphere paired with fabulous food. Patrons rave about the standout Cuban and Reuben sandwiches, which often draw attention for their quality and flavor, alongside the house-made turkey. While some note occasional service inconsistency and slight price concerns, many celebrate the expansive menu options, live music, and family-friendly vibe. The cleanliness and expedient service impress visitors as well. With a recent managerial shift promising further enhancements, Lola’s remains a go-to destination for a unique sandwich experience in a charming setting.

The food was delicious. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the bacon, avocado, turkey, and cheddar sandwich and it was fantastic. The portions are generous. If you order a side, they suggest sharing it with the table. The room can get a bit noisy when it's crowded, but that's to be expected. On weekends, there is live music and the singer was really talented!

Fabulous!!! I just ate the best Reuben Sandwich I believe I can remember eating. Ever. What an awesome meal! I bought a second sandwich to go. The food quality and flavors here are fantastic!

The absolutely best sandwiches we ever had! the chips were also really good! we went with the Bron-Yr-Aur and the heaven can wait. both were as amazing, and we will definitely try some more again. the atmosphere is clean, quirky fun. we loved to read all signs on the wall, and the lunchboxes were cool to see.

The restaurant was very family-friendly on Mother's Day, with little wait time for those who arrived first. Our group consisted of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 children. While the decor wasn't upscale, the live music added a lively New Orleans vibe. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the Shrimp Po Boy sandwich is only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I chose the Shrimp Roll sandwich with chips instead. The sandwich was delicious, similar to a lobster roll but made with shrimp. The bread was excellent—crispy on the inside and soft on the outside. The house-made chips were good, though they could have used a bit more seasoning. I’m looking forward to trying the French Dip or Shrimp Po Boy on my next visit. Overall, it’s a great place for a casual lunch.

I'm updating this review over a year later, and I must say I absolutely love this restaurant. It's a favorite among locals, which means wait times can be longer than at typical chain sandwich shops. If you're in a hurry, I suggest calling ahead, as they tend to get busy during lunch hours. The food is fresh and made right on-site. The Reuben sandwich is exceptional, especially since they prepare their own corned beef in-house. The house-made turkey is also superb and far better than store-bought alternatives. I highly recommend trying the TABC sandwich; it's truly life-changing. If you're looking for a unique, handcrafted meal in Tyler along with a charming diner atmosphere, this is the place to be. They also have live music during brunch on weekends. The facilities are clean, and the staff always makes you feel like part of the family.
