Reviews summary
Nestled in the quaint village of Tyalgum, Flutterby’s Cafe offers a charming atmosphere that combines quirky decor with warm hospitality. Diners can relish beautifully presented meals, though some may find the flavors underwhelming compared to the artistic aims. Signature dishes like smashed avocado shine, while others, like Barramundi, may disappoint due to heavy sauces and small portions. The cafe caters to all ages, featuring a delightful fairy room for children and various dining options including high tea. Overall, Flutterby’s stands out as a hidden gem worth visiting for its unique setting and hospitable service.

What Anonym dislikes about Flutterbies:
nice service, but they try to hard with eating. I declare: the meal costs about 50% higher than a normal caffe, so they may expect more and they try to satisfy their expectation by making the meal all fancy and beautiful. but they try too hard and forget the taste. I ordered a caravan chicken burger with chips. the chips were all imaginative, various types of kartoffels and carrots, but they were actually not chips.... View all feedback.

Quaint cafe with an awesome selection. I had a chocolate chai tea and adored the teapot and cup. We also had a slice of Persian love cafe which was one of the yummiest gluten free sweets I have had. Food looked amazing , so will have to come back for lunch. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch

Called in after drive from Gold Coast with a couple friends. What a find!!! Great setting beautiful food and staff very friendly and helpfull. They do small concerts and have visiting musicians and degustation days. We will definitely return for a Shakespearean Night!!! Definitely rate it 5 star cafe and restaurant Well worth the drive from GC and murwillumbah!!
Beautiful place, nestled I think he middle of nowhere, like a step back in time. So many yummies to eat, Lavender scones are to die for. The staff are beautiful attentive very polite. My favorite place to go
Atmosphere and service do not dissapoint. We stumbled upon Flutterbies a few months ago when searching for a petrol station. Very pleased we did. We couldn't recommend this hidden gem highly enough!
This gorgeous place was recommended by a work colleague. My parents are visiting from Melbourne so thought it would make a nice Sunday outing from the Gold Coast. Everything just so beautiful including staff. Would highly recommend

Nice service, but they try to hard with eating. I declare: the meal costs about 50% higher than a normal caffe, so they may expect more and they try to satisfy their expectation by making the meal all fancy and beautiful. but they try too hard and forget the taste. I ordered a caravan chicken burger with chips. the chips were all imaginative, various types of kartoffels and carrots, but they were actually not chips. they were not fried deep. they tasted like baked carrots that don't go well with a burger. In addition, they gave me a sweet chutney to immerse the chips, which was absolutely bizarre. it ruined the meal. aoli or even tomato sauce would read more
A great place to escape to lunch or breakfast, Flutterby’s is a nice caffe in the fucked village tyalgum. the eating is nice, the personal is friendly and the restaurant is quirky, as it is set in the middle of the 50s-60s years, and it adds a beautiful atmosphere to the place.
The caffe and the company are warm and welcoming and eating is absolutely wonderful. a beautiful interior with a colourful edwardian presence and a piece of fully covered exterior seating area. let them swim away their problems.
