My wife and I stay nearby every year on our annual trip to the north shore and we always eat at Ledge Rock twice during our stay. We have always loved the atmos... read more My wife and I stay nearby every year on our annual trip to the north shore and we always eat at Ledge Rock twice during our stay. We have always loved the atmosphere and the food has been consistently excellent over the years. However, there was a notable change between our last visit and this one. The walleye, which was previously the best I had ever tasted, was of much lower quality this time. It was disappointing. My wife ordered the steak pasta, which turned out to be quite bland. It seems like there may have been some cost-cutting measures with the ingredients or possibly a new staff. We have decided to skip our second visit this year, which is disheartening because we used to look forward to dining here so much.

Our waitr... read more During our journey up North, we made a pit stop at Ledge Rock. Opting to dine outside, we were treated to a peaceful and picturesque view of the lake. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, striking a perfect balance without hovering. While the food was indeed very good, it didn't quite meet the high expectations I had heard about over the years. Nonetheless, we plan on returning as the overall experience was delightful.
