My family and I had a wonderful time enjoying the view from the porch, as well as the friendly service and delicious food. The smoked salmon was exceptionally tasty and made in-house. The kids' menu and quick appetizers were also a hit, especially the wontons with sweet chili sauce. The staff was warm and accommodating, reminiscent of the restaurants we visited in our childhood. We will definitely be returning, thank you!

We all highly recommend having it served with the (very generous sized serve of) garlic butter. Chips and other sides were good, and reasonable sized serves. It is a services club, not a dedicated restaurant and the staff were really friendly, funny and earthy folk, with character. The atmosphere is... well, small town pub. But it is clean and comfortable and part of the genuine Twizel culture as opposed to the tourist market.
