This is like Paris in Pittsburgh. Even in cold weather, people cue up in long lines outside the store for their fresh bread and pastries. The coffee there is great. I 'm giving it five stars for atmosphere, although you can 't eat inside the store because the decor and smell of the store is an experience you will remember. Also, during warmer weather, in the Summer, Spring, and Autumn, there is pleasant outside eating with WiFi and small tables. The shop is quaint and the baked goods are excellent. You won 't easily find baked goods and sandwiches like those at Madeleine outside of France. The shop is heavily in demand so, reserve orders over the phone if you can.
This is a charming stand alone building like it was transported from a French village. A small selection of croissants, cakes, baguettes, and cookies. All exquisite. You can get a coffee and sit at tables outside in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Friendly helpful staff.
The bakery portions are huge. I don't think I've ever seen a croissant that big before. They tasted great but I just wish they had smaller portions.
Simply the best croissant in PGH. They sell out soooo fast!!!
Best croissants I’ve had in my life. Their Almond croissants are heaven! Definitely recommend it. I tried butter croissant, almond croissant, brownie, and one more item (I don’t remember the name). Everything was really good. They also have coffee to go with which could have been better.
