North 99 - Twillingate
North 99
Description
Perched in Twillingate with picnic-table iceberg views, this budget-friendly spot is known for cold beer, exceptional wings and a focused, takeout-friendly menu; the dining room is family-friendly and separated from the lively bar. Rooms offer good value but are compact, and experiences vary—thin walls, occasional late-night noise, and no air conditioning or breakfast can frustrate light sleepers. Service quality fluctuates, yet many guests praise cleanliness and the unbeatable location.

Was in Twillingate overnight and had to find a place to eat. North 99 was opened until 8:00 p.m. in November. I was recommended by a local to eat here because there weren't many other places available except for Mary Brown's and Robins. There's a decent menu as you can see. We got the wings and fries and we're not disappointed. If you'd like hot wings, I would recommend that you go right to the level 2 sauce. The spiciness of level 1 was barely noticeable. And if you want to try to look, a few slot machines available. As well as in ATM.
Horrible stay no sleep walls PAPER THIN. Gave them the benefit after a noisy night and stayed the second night was very sorry we did! Had the tv up to 30 to drown out the noise from the people at the slot machines and the bar til closing. If you drink yourself to sleep this might be the place for you otherwise if you want to rest stay somewhere else. Also note no air conditioning so had to have window open while people sat smoking and talking loudly right under our window ugh !
The staff must be exhausted from the tourist season. When I went in at opening the staff acted like they it was inconvenient for me to be there and told me they were not serving food. Service: 1 Location: 3
