I liked the environment of the cafe, and thought that it would be a good place to read a good book, or do some work while enjoying some coffee and sweets. However, one encounter with one of the restaurant staff really made me uncomfortable and made me rethink about coming back. My partner and I had ordered food and coffee, and were doing our own thing in the cafe when a waiter came over to us and told us that we had to vacate the table in 15 mins because they did not have enough tables at the restaurant end for dinner patrons. We understand that the restaurant was getting busy, and would be completely fine with moving to a smaller space, but the way that the staff approached us without apologies or anything made us feel unwelcome and was simply very rude.

We are either lucky that we have not... read more We had lunch here yesterday and had another phenomenal meal. I have eaten here a handful of times and it never disappoints. We are either lucky that we have not had any wait whatsoever, or this is a hidden gem people don't know about! The house made pasta, the calamari with the house made sauce, the soups, the espresso bar, the gelato ... all of it is SO yummy! Their menu has the option of Half size servings of pasta, which allows us to have enough room in our stomachs to try other menu items too!This time we had the Salsiccia Orecchiette Pasta with Italian Sausage, Tomato Paste, Fresh Garlic, Oregano Lite Cream. Very tasty with lots of sausage. Just the right balance of all ingredients m. Also had a Golden Latte... really good! We also had to get the calamari again, which had nicely seasoned batter and a delicious tomato based sauce to put on top. I also got a cup of the Pasta e Fagioli so satisfying and came with wonderful aromatic bread for dipping into the soup. Service is also top notch and everyone is always so friendly and attentive. Beautiful interior, with some seating on their patio. The espresso coffee and gelato bar adjoins the restaurant but also has its own entrance at the patio. There is a parking lot right next to it that has ample parking.There is a new panini menu that we are excited about! We will be visiting again to try it out! When I think of Italian food, THIS is the restaurant that delivers time and again.
