H... read more My friend recommended that I try Ikes because they have a vegan menu. I decided to order the 301 sandwich and it was incredible - I could eat it all the time. However, I am eager to try all of their other sandwiches first. The service was great. Parking may be difficult during busy times, but it is definitely worth it.

I ordered the meatball sub, which I believe was called The Michael Jordan. The cheese on it had a strange, almost mayonnaise-like gooiness that persisted from hot to cold, which was unusual. The flavor was decent, but it wasn't quite what I prefer.

I spent a full two minutes trying to decipher their complex menu before finally heading to the register. There were two customers dining and three employees hanging around, yet I stood there for a whole minute without being acknowledged before opting to leave. I don’t believe this reflects poorly on Ike's itself; it seems more like a problem stemming from a lackluster and disorganized staff.
