I really spoiled myself since I live so far away got the Fennel Sausage pizza, the truffle burger curry ramen. I wish I lived local so I could try all thier other options. These were delectable. It's making me hungry just writing this review. I didn't have time to dine in, but the restaurant itself felt like a great spot to have lunch or dinner with friends eat good for the soul cruelty free food.

For the past 15 months it was take-out only so I missed many places that were too far from home to support. This was my first time back at Freesoulcafe in almost two years. It was great. We ordered from the bunch menu. We shared a breakfast sandwich and a plate of the hash. Both were fantastic. Their outdoor patio is very nice and the service was excellent. This is in old Tustin so it's a great area to walk around before or after a meal. There is even a cool new bookstore a block away that wasn't there the last time I visited. The location is right by the 5/55 interchange, so an easy place to stop if you are simply passing through the area. Plenty of free street parking too!

Service was pretty slow despite not being very crowded on a Tuesday evening. Parking was easy. The place is clean with bathrooms that are clean and the ambiance is nice for a date night or special lunch out. Some people were celebrating abirthday. The staff was unaccommodating. I thought the portions were on the smaller side and not the best value for the price.Although there?s a lot of variety in their plant based menu. No kids menu. I though the asparagus soup was bland and the grilledcountry salad was just fine. The big star was the potato pizza. That?s probably the only thing I?d come back for; but I?d takeit to go.

When things are done right, they are truly excellent, and this restaurant is no exception. It’s 100% vegan, and I absolutely love it. I watch my sodium intake and limit fried foods, and this place allows me to do that without having to cook at home. The glass carafes of water were a wonderful touch. I'm just in love with this place! You should definitely check it out!
