The most unexpected place to find the best Italian food in OC. This little gem is truly magnificent! The cheese ravioli with vodka sauce is delightful. The lasagna is incredible. The chicken and mushroom risotto is out of this world! All the classics like fettuccine alfredo and chicken piccata are full of flavor and make you keep wanting to come back! Not a thing on the menu has disappointed! We have been coming often since we discovered it a little over a year ago.
Excellent quality food. Above average portions. Incredibly delicious for a shopping plaza restaurant. Not sure where they source the prosciutto, but it was amazing.
Delicious food. Great service. Personable staff. Warm atmosphere. Will definitely go there again. I had (vegetarian of course) fettuccine arabiata.
I chose the farfalle pasta with scampi fra diavolo, and it was perfectly spiced—flavorful without being too intense. The dish featured about five large pieces of scampi, and it was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant! If you're thinking of going for dinner, be sure to make a reservation, as it’s quite small. They also have some outdoor seating under a tent, which I personally prefer, but it can get quite busy in the evenings, so booking in advance is a good idea.
My husband's dish was fantastic, but I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and unfortunately, the meatballs were quite bland and didn't seem fresh. When I inquired with the owner about the ingredients, he confidently mentioned that they were made with chicken. I was taken aback since I wasn't expecting chicken meatballs. So, I suggest you specify your preferences before placing your order. I’ve never encountered this situation at any other Italian restaurant, and on top of that, the prices were quite high as well.
