What User doesn't like about The Matterhorn Turramurra:
"Yes and no. The food is overpriced for what it is. We spent $455 for five people, averaging $200 per person. This was for a dinner service, but the quality did not justify the price.".
Service: dine in meal type: dinner price per person: $60–80

This is the second time we came here. The first time was in winter 2020. The food is nice and staff polite good ambience (albeit lighting a bit bright) but the portions have got much too small (rainbow trout, chicken and rhubarb dessert). For example the rhubarb dessert we had was literally 1 tablespoon for each of us. We’d rather pay a bit more than the $215 for sensible sized portions rather the tiny ones we had this Saturday. Should be more generous particularly considering it is a Swiss European restaurant in the suburbs. We eat out regularly in the lower north shore 3 to 4 times a week for the same price but the portions are much bigger than this restaurant.
Great local restaurant offering something different Swiss cuisine. Pleasant modern environment. Tables are well spaced and reasonable size. Food is rustic, interesting and well proportioned. The service is relaxed and friendly and comes complete with a robot waiter to carry the plates. The wine list is not extensive but most importantly containers options from Switzerland that are well worth trying. The desersts are tasty but not overly sweet. Parking: Convenient parking is to be found around the back and near Turramurra station.
