Thai Chili 88 - Turnersville

First impressions are everything, and unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was one of total dissatisfaction. We visited for lunch at this small eatery, but no one greeted us or guided us to our seats for several minutes. We stood waiting, feeling like statues! Once we finally sat down and glanced through the menu, we encountered more delays—only this time, we weren’t even served at all. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, we decided to leave. We informed the person at the front of our departure due to the slow service, and her reaction? A shocked expression with wide eyes and no apology. For such a small venue, I expected much better service, especially when catering to a limited number of customers. We were eager to try the food, as a friend had highly recommended it, but our experience was marred by their sluggish service. What a disappointment!

First impressions last! and this is my only impression from the TOTAL DISSATISFACTION restaurant! We have lunch in this small, small place... No one has greeted us and whipped us for a few minutes... we waited there, stood like a statue! and when we came to our seats, the menu looked up and here we are back, slow service! Wait, we've never been served! we are tired of waiting as it feels forever! we just gathered our things and went, we told the front person that we were going for their slow service. The only answer we got from her? An open mouth big eyes totally shocked! She never offered an apology... For a small place like this, they should have a great service to provide such small amount. We never did! We wanted to try out their food because it was suggested by our friend that it was great, but we never had the chance to eat because of their SLOW SERVICE! Great job! N O T!!!

The drunken noodles are simply delightful. The vegetables are incredibly fresh, and the spring rolls are outstanding. The basil fried rice is irresistibly good!

I have to give credit to this restaurant for its late hours, as they stay open longer than most Thai establishments, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, that's about where the praise ends. The noodles lacked flavor, the shrimp tasted muddy, and while the spring rolls were crispy, they were also small and tasteless. It's convenient for a late-night meal, but there are definitely better Thai options in the area.

This place is truly addictive—once you visit, you'll want to come back every day. If you're looking for incredible food that creates an amazing atmosphere, treat yourself and head here!
