Good Hot Food we love eating here ?Kid-friendliness: Friendly people they were very nice to us ?
I ordered battered fish on January 6th. When I got home and tried it, I immediately felt sick and had to spit it out. It had a foul odor and brown spots. I called the restaurant, and they said they would remake it if I brought my receipt. However, due to icy weather, I couldn’t go back until January 23. When I explained the situation to the general manager, she dismissed my claims and was quite unprofessional. She argued with me, raised her voice at my boyfriend, refused to give me a refund, and insisted that no one would have told us that the fish could be remade, practically accusing us of lying. She claimed the fish wasn’t spoiled and that they were using a 'new' fish that just had a different taste. However, I couldn’t find any information supporting that. After she finally remade the fish, I brought it home and found it to be the same poor quality as before—tasting and smelling rotten, with brown spots. I genuinely believe they are serving bad fish under the guise of it being 'new.' I felt completely disrespected by the way I was treated and have no intention of returning. I just wanted to share my experience.
The lady at the window was very nice, and the food was good. The service was friendly. However, I received some improperly prepared fish, but they kindly replaced the meal. Unfortunately, I have to mention that the batter had an unusual taste this time, and one piece of fish smelled spoiled. I hope they bring back the old Captain D's fish! That piece of fish smelled bad, and even my dog wouldn't eat it. Sorry to say.
