The Inn On The Lake - TUNBRIDGE WELLS

My friend and I had afternoon tea. The quality of the food was superb, really outstanding, all homemade, delicious and very tasty, and plenty of it too, it was very filling. We would both highly recommend it. The service from the staff was excellent and as it wasn't very busy in there at the time (3pm) we were able to chat with them at our leisure. All in all, it was a very relaxing but highly pleasurable couple of hours at a very nicely furnished Inn in a lovely setting beside a lake. We will definitely be back.

Recently, my husband and I had Afternoon Tea at The Inn on the Lake and we were impressed by the excellent quality and value for money. We highly recommend it as a birthday treat or for catching up with friends. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. No matter what time of day you go, the service is top-notch and the food arrives promptly. Kudos to Leigh, Sharon, and the rest of the team for a job well done.

Meeting friends for lunch we picked The Inn on the Lake due to the localaty, menu and the fact it is dog friendly it would have been hard to choose better.The food was excellent, we had four different meals from the menu and all four were first class, as was the desert. The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.After lunch we had a nice leisurely walk around the lake.

My wife and I came here after booking a table as the eat out to help scheme has certainly made the place popular. Loved the decor and the over riding reason for eating here is the friendly service. It is though very closely followed by the food, the portion sizes alone offer value for money, then sprinkled with the quality I have no problem recommending this as a place for an evening meal, I had the whitebait for starters, well cooked in a nice batter and the tartar sauce is lovely, my wife had the garlic mushrooms served unusually with a sweet chilli sauce which really works. My wife loved the liver and bacon, I went for the tex mex burgers and there was probably to many flavours going on but I still enjoyed it.

We already loved this restaurant, but were curious to see how it would feel with the pandemic and all the social distancing measures in place. Tonight, six of us went there for dinner and it still had the same welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The service and staff were fantastic as always. The food was delicious, and even our four very picky children finished all their plates. Keep up the great work, guys. We highly recommend this restaurant.
