Despite a somewhat unadventurous menu, the dishes sampled were well-cooked and excellently presented. The wine list impressed with its extensive selection of French and New World wines, comparable to those found in Michelin-starred restaurants. While some diners found the prices misleading due to VAT exclusions, overall, the restaurant garnered positive reviews for its ambiance, service, and delicious food. Guests enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and appreciated the festive decorations during the holiday season. The Sunday lunch was highlighted as excellent value, with praise for the attentive staff, fresh food, and great wine selection. Some minor issues were raised, such as slow service and long wait times between courses, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive dining experience at Hotel du Vin.

Right from first contacting the Events team they were so helpful and really understood what we wanted our meal and evening to be like. We were very impressed with the style of the hotel which is just so us. During the evening the staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We were so impressed that we have booked with them for next Christmas as well! Thank you so much Sophia and Karolina and all the team

Nice birthday lunch at Hotel du Vin Bistro. The food was very good and the service impeccable. A word of caution. The drinks here are really expesive. We had fresh orange juice and soda which cost more than wine would have. I dread to think how much wine would have added to the bill. Bearing this in mind, it's a very nice venue and I would recommend but watch out for the drinks prices!
Hotel Du Vin was fantastic as always. Great food, good service and a relaxed atmosphere.
