The Dragon Palace - Tumbler Ridge

If you are looking for some excellent Westernized Chinese food, this is your place! The service is quick and the food was hot and fresh. I will for sure be back! We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken chow mien, sweet and sour chicken balls, deep fried shrimp and garlic boneless pork.

Best Chinese in Tumbler ; . These guys are consistently good. Mind you, I only ever get the shanghai noodle chow mein. The rest looks really good too, but I'm a creature of habit. I always time my TR trips to include lunch or dinner there, it's like a treat.

The restaurant was empty when we first arrived but quickly filled up. The server handled every table alone. He's an interesting guy ,always whistling and seemed angry. He provided great service ,fast and attentive. The meal was okay ,nothing really to compare it to as there are only 4 places to eat in town. Decent menu and large portions . He seemed to have a regular clientele that enjoyed the place ..

On a solo dinner, I had the Ginger chicken. It was loaded with chicken and onion and lots of ginger. Tasted very good and the portion size was big. Too much for 1 person, but had it for lunch the next day. Only thing I was not keen on was that you had to get a side of rice at an additional charge, not much, but still. I would go back here again when I am back in town.

Wonderful service, they are always very fast and big portions. You get what you pay for! I recommend it :)
