Matcha Mama (who cohabitates with Pizza Papi and Coco Mama) offers plentiful fresh juices, smoothies, açaí/smoothie bowls, and coconut water. You can also order from the Pizza Papi menu. The fresh coconut water is very good, and we appreciate that it is served in reusable glass jars instead of plastic. The bowls are more dessert-like than fresh-fruit-like, but they’re refreshing if that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately they’re served in “disposable” containers, so bring your own bowl if you can, to reduce the impact on Tulum’s severe waste management crisis. Service is cheerful and helpful. Nice spot and very instagramable. I went twice in different days and they had no coffee and no excuse given, also both times I went same person who was serving was preparing the food thus a lot of waiting times, not her fault, also she was nice! Something was off for me about this place. It’s expensive but my body was asking for some healthy stuff after all the tacos.
I really like the many different matcha drinks. It’s kinda expensive and you get everything in take away packaging. Also you have to go to the front to tell them you order. Which is all fine but because there is less service I would expect lover prices. Nevertheless the food and drinks are good!
We had two smoothies and the coconut water and payed around 15-20usd. It was delicious, but too expensive.
Lovely vegan smoothies from here. Good choice, all vegan and vegan protein powder too!
