Food was delicious but service was a little sporadic. We had the first reservations of the night at 6pm, arrived a bit early and waited until 6 to be seated. Th... read more Food was delicious but service was a little sporadic. We had the first reservations of the night at 6pm, arrived a bit early and waited until 6 to be seated. The service from the start was good but as the night progressed we got less and less attention from the staff. We had to wait a while or ask for assistance multiple times. The drinks and food all arrived together and everything tasted great. We ended up getting two orders of the jungle bread because it came quickly, it was delicious, and we were hungry. I got the beef and it was tasty. Some bites a little spicy but it paired well with the sweetness of the carrot puree. My wife got the catch of the day and said it was tasty. We also shared a salad and it was refreshing. We finished with the gorillaz dessert which was a perfect ending. Overall the food and ambience of the open kitchen was great, just the service left a little to be desired.

Superb cocktails and Excellent food as ever. Very helpful and understanding FoH moved us from the new side arm of restaurant (no real ambience in my view) to the main room where you can see the kitchen working which is an integral part of the experience. Classic dishes remain in the menu. Slight mess up with our mains arriving at same time as starters — unusual as service is usually very good; I’ll put this down to human error and not them trying to rush us out as we did not order til around 945pm. KT is one of Tulum’s best “foodie” places. Highly recommended.
