Description

The restaurant offers a mix of outstanding and average menu items, with the only major issue being parking, especially on busy Friday and Saturday nights. It is praised for its good bar food, with generous portions, although it is not necessarily a healthy option. The rotating beer taps keep the bar menu fresh, contributing to the overall positive dining experience. The loaded cheese fries are a standout dish, and the service is consistently good. The restaurant is described as a decent spot for American-style dishes in a trendy area, with a nice selection of choices for various tastes. The hand-cut fries are mentioned as a favorite, along with the chicken fry dish. Portions are large, and the service is considered friendly and efficient. Overall, the restaurant on Brookside is recommended for its great food, especially the buffalo wings, and attentive service. However, it is noted that the quality of the food may vary slightly depending on factors such as timing and seating location.

The food was very good. The bun on the Philly, however, fell apart when trying to pick it up. But the tastes were great and the Mac and Cheese lived up to its reputation. The one negative was when another server started spraying sanitizer on the glassdividers near our booth while we were eating. The smell of the sanitizer in the air greatly damaged the smell and taste of thefood. However, once asked, she immediately stopped, so at least it didn't get any worse after that point. Back again today. Great service and a very good French Dip.

During our recent visits, the service has consistently been outstanding, and we always feel welcomed. However, we've encountered some disappointing experiences with the food on two occasions. On our latest visit, despite the staff's commendable efforts to fix the problem, the fish and chips fell short of our expectations. After I pointed out that the batter seemed undercooked and had an off flavor, they replaced the fish with fresh ones. I learned that they had switched from cod to a different type of breaded fish, but even the new batch didn't taste good at all. The staff apologized for the issue and generously didn’t charge me for the meal. I would love to return for fish and chips if they go back to their beer-battered cod. If not, I would suggest considering other options on the menu.

The Brook never disappoints! Each time I've been to this restaurant, the staff has been exceptionally friendly and professional. They offer a great selection of dishes, and the quality of the food is remarkable. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very fair. The flavors are outstanding. One of my favorite dishes is the Southwest Chicken Nachos, and their mac and cheese is also amazing.

I always love their food, especially the buffalo wraps and mac and cheese—generous portions! The waitstaff is consistently friendly and efficient too. I really enjoy the $5 margaritas on Mondays! We make it a priority to visit whenever we're in town.
