Awesome atmosphere! Great food and great service( thanks for the pickles too and going all with out odd request) ! Quality middle eastern cuisine with great menu variety and excellent taste/presentation! We will definitely go again.

Very good service.  The Esau soup was the second best Middle Eastern lentil soup I've ever had and the restaurant that had the best doesn't exist anymore.  The falafel sandwich comes with coleslaw and sweet potato fries in the sandwich.  I like traditional Egyptian falafel sandwiches so I asked for no coleslaw or fries.  The sandwich was very good except for the tahini sauce.  For some reason they add curry powder to the traditional tahini sauce.  If they would also add traditional tahini sauce to the menu, this would have been the best meal that I've had in a Middle Eastern restaurant in OK.

Do not go to this restaurant for awhile! The absolute WORST service ever! My colleagues and I went there today for lunch. When we left, we seriously felt like we were on the set of Ashton Kutcher's show "Punked". Where to start??? 1) When we first walked in to be seated, there was no host/hostess in site, but we noticed that there was a sign that said something to the effect of the fact that the host was in the middle of the restaurant, so we walked towards the middle to see a young guy look at us (and rather than welcome us or ask how many to be seated, we had to tell him that there were three of us to be seated). He says "ok" and looks around and chats with one of his fellow employees (we stood there for about 5 minutes, as the staff looked confused as to where to seat us). 2) We FINALLY got seated, and then about another 6-7 minutes later, a guy comes over to our table with waters. He took our drink order and we asked if we could order an appetizer (of course he didn't ask us if we wanted an appetizer).3) About another 5 minutes later, he comes back with our drinks and asks us if we were ready to order (still no sign of the appetizer). 4) We had all seen that the online menu had chicken kabobs on it, and he said that they no longer have it (which is why it was not on the actual menu). One would think that they would want to update their online menu, since most people this day and age go online to look at restaurant info. 5) So, I proceed to tell him that since they do not have kabobs, I would like the Moroccan lemon chicken. The waiter proceeds to say (after he pauses and smiles, which was irritating because by now we were soooo not impressed with this place), that "we no longer serve dinner at lunchtime". ????!!! I proceed to tell him (as someone who has waited tables through out college and bartended) " Most restaurants won't serve lunch specials after a certain time, but they allow you to order dinner at lunch". 6) The waiter then proceeds to say (in a hesitant voice), that "Our kitchen is sort of in transition". "We actually shut down our restaurant for two weeks, due to staff changes". WOW!!!?? I told him that we would need a couple of more minutes, so that we could all look at the lunch menu. 7) So, another waiter finally drops off our appetizer (with no plates, so I requested plates and he brought them over). 8) Our waiter finally returns back to take our order, and one of my colleagues wanted to order the meatballs w/ a bowl of the ESAU soup. I ordered a sandwhich (and on the menu it said that it came with sweet potatoes, mint salad, and fruit). I also asked if he could bring tobasco sauce with the meal and he said sure. My other collegue ordered the chicken casear salad. 9)The waiter takes our menus and about a couple of minutes later, he comes back and tells my colleague (the one that ordered the soup and meatballs), that they are out of meatballs (WOW). So she asks if she can order the falafel instead, so he said sure. 10) About TWENTY OR SO MINUTES LATER, a couple of other servers brought our food out. They brought my colleague a bowl of TOMATO SOUP, even though she specially asked for ESAU soup. They brought my sandwich out with fruit AND NO SWEET POTATOES OR the MINT SALAD (WOW!!). They did deliver the chicken caesar with no issues (give them half a point for that one). So, my colleague tells them about the mishap on the soup and they tell her they will bring the ESAU out. I ask about my two missing side items (and the missing bottle of Tobasco), and by then our waiter showed up. 11) He proceeds to say that my meal only comes with potatoes and not the Mint salad and I tell him that when I read the menu, it said it came with both. 12) He proceeds to grab a menu to show me what he thinks it said!!! I could not take it anymore at that point!!! My colleagues and I are on a one hour lunch schedule (as most professionals), and by the time we got our messed up meals, I was so frustrated!!! I told him to please bring out whatever it comes with, as I do not want to look at the menu and told him that we were frustrated. 13) Somewhere in between all this, they finally bring out the ESAU soup to my colleague. I asked about the sweet potatoes, and the waiter said "we had to throw them in the fryer". WOW....so, my potatoes come out and by then we were in need of two tea refills so we had to once again request more tea (it was awful enough that they screwed up our orders, but the fact that none of the staff would think to even refill drinks or bring the tobasco sauce that was requested initially on their own was truly mind boggling!!!). 14) So, my sweet potatoes finally arrive, and still no tea refills for my two colleagues!!??? I just got up and went to the front counter and asked a different server to please bring more tea to the table, as we have been waiting several minutes, 15) and I get told that "we had to brew more tea".....AMAZING!! So, we get the tea finally and I asked for a to go box (which I actually didn't have to wait 20 years for). In most (fully functioning) restaurants, when the customer asks for a box, they get their check along with it (pretty common sense), 16) but we waited another 10 minutes for a check. This restaurant is in DIRE NEED of good Management and needs to understand that poor customer service such as this (especially with a menu as pricey as Laffa's), will not thrive unless they improve their customer service and whatever other issues were going on in the kitchen! The only positive to this story is that all of us did enjoy our food (once the correct food was delivered). Needless to say, we will not be back for a very long time. The whole experience was frustrating.

Vibe was good, food was good. Overpriced for the portions that were given. Two meatballs and rice with curry dressing was around 17$ and I’m talking 1...

Definitely a big fan. At this time of year in particular it's like treating myself to delicious, healthy comfort food.
