Jamil's
Description
Jamie's restaurant offers excellent service, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations for many customers. Multiple complaints were made about the quality and portion sizes of the dishes, with some diners experiencing food poisoning. Despite the negative reviews, a few customers raved about their experience at Jamie's, praising the polite servers, delicious hors d'oeuvres, and traditional Lebanese dishes. The restaurant's long-standing reputation and unique dining experience were highlighted by some customers who enjoyed the classic steakhouse atmosphere and intimate feel of the establishment. While there were mixed reviews, those who had a positive experience at Jamie's were eager to return for more great food and service.

I have always had a wonderful experience at this steakhouse. If there is one complaint it would be too much food as I age. Excellent cabbage rolls, excellent cold crisp veggies, the meat has always been up to par. Much nicer than any chain. Dine out at locally owned restaurants! Cheers to another 40 years
It really pains me to give this restaurant a bad review. I 've been wanting to eat here since we moved to the Tulsa area almost four years ago. I really built up a image in my head over the years as to how the meal would be. Unfortunately, our meal was substandard on all levels. We arrived this Saturday evening around 7:45. Incidentally, It was our 6th wedding anniversary. The parking lot was near empty, which I thought was somewhat odd. There was a sign posted out front stating that the restaurant was voted best steak house in 2019 . That seemed promising that we were in for a treat. We were not. We were sat in a semi booth near the back of a almost empty dining room. There were cobwebs in the light over our table. I ordered us a couple beverages and a shrimp cocktail to start. The shrimp were small, and unimpressive. The restaurant has a Lebanese lineage, so the server also brought tabouli and humus and small strips of pita bread to gnosh on. My wife ordered the filet and fried shrimp for her entree. I 'm a ribeye guy, so that 's what I ordered. The server came back ten minutes later to tell me they were out of ribeyes. They opened at 5pm. It was now 8pm. The place was empty. How were they out of ribeyes ? I then ordered their Tbone. The server came back a few minutes later and said they were out of that also. She said out of their entire steak selections, they only had filets. I was forced to order a filet and added a lobster tail. Our meals came out 10 minutes later. We both ordered medium rare. My wife 's steak was more on the medium well side. I was really disappointed. We ate our meals, ordered a slice of cheesecake for dessert (it was a skinny little slice), paid our bill and left. The meal came to $137+tip. I could have had a much better meal for around $100 at one of the many chain steakhouses in town. Like I said... I thought this place would wow me. It did not. The only way I 'd eat here again is if the meal was free.
Last Lebanese steak house in Tulsa. This place holds so much tradition. We love to go there and have good ole Steve wait on us. My father has been going there for over 30 years, so we always get the same thing. We were treated to all the fresh, homemade starters: Hummus, Fresh Veggies and Pita, Tabbouleh, Cabbage Rolls, Ribs and Bologna and a Salad. We finally get to the main, our perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked small Filet. It was so delicious, it almost melted in my mouth. Needless to say, pace yourself or be prepared to take home endless To go boxes. This is a classic, make sure you put this on your list. No franchise Steak house will give you this more intimate experience.
The steaks never disappoint! Great for large groups. Love all the Lebanese appetizers. They do need to offer more wine options, but the food is GREAT.
This long ago established steak house is always consistent. The old building we were able to come they the black door and wave at the kitchen chefs. There were even tables in the hallways. Pita and hummus always good, cabbage rolls delicious, tabouli (yum)and steaks always done to your liking. Did I mention the smoked ribs! Trip to Tulsa ALWAYS includes a stop here. Great vodka martinis!
