This simple restaurant brings back pleasant childhood memories. I did not realize how much I missed their food until we recently had late lunch here. The fried bangus belly, garlic rice, and bulalo were to die for! Still the same good old taste we love. This is the meaning of staple and comfort food. Staff were nice, too. I wish I took photos but we devoured the meal in a few minutes haha! See you again soon. View all feedback.
Such DELICIOUS food! Portions were generous and staff were kind and friendly. Definitely try the spicy grilled squid and the torta. Kudos to the team!!
The high rating of 4 is mainly for the food! Especially the Extra Large Deep Fried Boneless Bangus!!! It is the best! And the freshly fried tortang talong too. Those are our 2 favorites and they are fried to order so they’re fresh and juicy when served. We’d drive all the way to Nuvali just for this and then of course some outlet shopping in the area too hehe to make the trip even more worth it. The rice can be improved on but just ask for complimentary soup if the rice is too dry for you. Or better yet if you are in a big group or really hungry, order bulalo or sinigang. Parking is free and easy since located in Solenad. Not a perfect score though because cleanliness can be improved on too and although service was quick and efficient, don’t expect exchange of pleasantries with the servers LOL. The cleanliness, I mind. But the pleasantries, don’t need it anyway, I’m there for the food again, specifically the bangus!!! P.S. The chicharon bulaklak is so good too!
Looking for the best place to eat Bulalo? You. Have. To. Go. Here! And their huuuuuge daing na bangus. Anyone a fan of bangus belly? Dig innnnn! The size is one thing but the taste, I just had to order the frozen one and bring it back home. Not your fancy Tagaytay restaurant but the food can really be a warm hug on a cold night.

I would say that I've been to all of their branches. And every time I visit it's only the Boneless Bangus I care about. With a bowl of Bulalao Soup. And an occasional tikim of the Chicharong Bulaklak and the Pancit. But that's it. Why? Because the thunder Bangus is the best there is. Really. It's fried right and the meat is so well-seasoned that one calamansi is all that it will ever need. My companions ordered for the Halabos na Hipon, the Binagoongang Talong, Pinakbet which all tasted flat beside the Superstar Bangus. I'm not sorry for sounding biased. Because I am. The service? It's hideous. Not only do the servers lack in the physical aspect but also in what is proper. To say that the servers were poorly trained is far too generous. They haven't been trained. Period. But who cares? As what I've said, the Boneless Bangus is all I come to LZM here for.
