Despite some underwhelming experiences with chewy chicken, their service and ambiance make up for it. Friendly staff, generous portions, and delicious food like honey roast duck and carbonara make for a great dining experience. With excellent service even during busy times, the restaurant holds strong recommendations. Balcone Italiano also shines in accommodating special occasions, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable meal. Recommended for those looking for a cozy, festive atmosphere and flavorful food in a charming setting.
The restaurant at this hotel features a grand staircase and an impressive chandelier. Despite being advertised as an Italian restaurant, the menu actually offers a blend of Irish and Italian flavors. The standout dish is the braised pork belly, and the Argentinian Malbec red wine is outstanding. William and Aireen provide exceptional service.
This restaurant is best suited for those who enjoy mediocre food. The pizzas lack authenticity, and the chicken was tough to chew. Combining BBQ sauce, red onion, and pineapple on a pizza is simply embarrassing. The topping combinations for the pizzas were not great overall. The dough was average and lacked airiness, resulting in a crust that was the opposite of nice. However, the restaurant does serve good coffee and the waitstaff is polite and friendly.
I visited this restaurant today for my graduation celebration with my family. The waiter and manager were extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to order everything we wanted and the portions were generous. The food was delicious, especially the semi-honey roast and carbonara dishes. They also had a variety of beautiful desserts. I highly recommend this place! The Bridge House is a beautiful hotel with cozy and charming decorations.
Today, I celebrated my graduation with my family at this restaurant. The waiter and manager were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I particularly recommend the half honey roast duck and the Carbonara. The desserts were also fantastic. I highly recommend this place. The Bridge House itself is a charming hotel with a cozy and festive atmosphere thanks to their decorations. I loved it.
I had a fantastic meal with excellent service, even though the restaurant was very busy. I want to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Eve, and the bar waiter, Adam, who were both incredibly friendly. I highly recommend trying the Hake dish.
