What Vadim Popov doesn't like about Airo:
I ordered poached eggs in toast for a whopping $22AUD. My eggs were pretty much hard boiled. The orange juice was cheep and tasted like sugar. It’s a very expensive, below average restaurant and if we weren’t stuck here waiting for our flight I would have gone somewhere else. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, with staff shortages the restaurant was closed and we had to have bar service on low tables. Food was dry and disappointing when it finally came ….but still expensive! Disappointing as last time we ate here it was lovely
Food was cooked well. We were unsure how rhe restaurant worked as far as ordering. First waitress was unhelpful, the second waitress took the time to explain the menu. Figured when we were given the bill, they wanted us out. Would have loved a second round of coffees however the bill was given to us. Ok as a travel restaurant.
Sadly they did nit have enough staff to work the bar and deliver meals. Our meals although delicious were cold and sat on the pass for a long time. We felt for the staff as they struggled to clean pick up and deliver food and serve at the bar. We know the pandemic has made a huge impact on hospitality and I hope that everyone will recover. I had the steak it was overcooked but delicious and my friend had the chicken which was delicious but everything was cold. We will come back in a few months when everything picks up.

Airo had no record about the booking of fork. to the luck I checked before eating. so much for the use of fork.
