It was a great experience at Scorpion in Tulcea. The staff was polite and very helpful, the food was great and cheap. Before the Danube Delta.
This is not a fashionable place but a dock-side, functional restaurant where people grab a quick beer or a meal before taking one of the Danube ferries. There is plenty of sheltered seating on the terraced area. The restaurant serves a lot of excellent fish dishes which are worth trying. You could also just settle for a snack. The staff are cheerful but seemed to be overworked and sometimes the service was slow. Take it for what it is: A good place to have a meal before or after your ferry trip'
This was a great little find, decent service, very good salads and fresh drinks, €15 for 3 people! Pick up the port area!
This place simply does not work what is sad, because the place looks beautiful and people make an effort (gordon ramsey that place! . The waiters asked about our orders like 5 times and still managed to screw it up. Eating was okay. Beer is quite expensive on Romanian standards. Dodge the place. They make trouble, but in the end it's just not enough, sad
