Its a really charming place and the service is friendly but the food is really not very good. The sides are probably the best dishes, the malva pudding was very dry and still a little frozen Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.

The restaurant is housed in a historic building dating back to 1750, making it the second oldest structure in Tulbach. The food was exceptional and flavorful, arriving promptly. The waitstaff were friendly, professional, and efficient. The ambiance is lovely, enhanced by the yellow wood that forms much of the building's structure. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked with toiletries. As a cat lover, the owner has adorned the entrance with cat statues, and there are also two friendly cats that roam the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you find yourself in Tulbach, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had a delightful experience at the restaurant, where I enjoyed a wonderfully tender trout served alongside fresh greens and caramelized sweet potatoes. The service was outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere, complete with a cat theme, made it feel very welcoming. For dinner, I recommend the lightly smoked trout. The price per person ranged from R 100 to 150, which was quite reasonable for such a lovely meal.

Thank you for a truly memorable evening. The food was exceptional, and Carol, you did an amazing job!
I stopped by for coffee and ended up making a reservation for lunch. The Head Chef and Owner had no hesitation in preparing a vegan meal for me, which was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this place. I also loved all the cat-themed decor and, of course, the cats themselves!
Thank you, Carol and team, for providing an incredible lunch at Saronsberg for the McCarty-Augustyn post-wedding celebration! The food was fantastic!
Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. You absolutely can't miss the secret trio of homemade ice cream!
