Located on our route to the southeast entrance of Sequoia National Park, this was just what we needed for a hearty breakfast before hitting the trail.The country fried steak was excellent, and everyone raved about the pancakes. this restaurant ended up being a big let down. the river is gorgeous, but the food is WAY over priced $29 for an impossible burger and fries, $17 for a 6 inch pizza $30+ for ravioli .i’d heard the portions were big to justify these prices but not for what i ordered. i got 6 8 ravioli, and the 6” pizza was the worst i’ve ever had hardly any sauce and cheese, mostly crust, the veggies were clearly cooked on the side ad... Kitchen was closed when we arrived. The owner made us the tastiest and most nutritious sandwiches ever! Delicious potato salad and coleslaw!
It is a great place for single and double travelers, with a full bar and restaurant just a few seconds' walk away. The food and drink are great, not to mention the scenery.
Over pricedRespons: Overpriced menu is a direct reflection of your greed in the restaurant industry. Your food isn't anything special.
