Miera Mikus - Tukums

We were visiting Tukums and we stopped here for lunch. The menu is in Latvian but the female staff could speak English and she was friendly. There is an option to go for 1 portion or ½ portion and there isn 't a big difference in the price so we chose 1 portion. We ordered Breaded Pork Cutlet with Rice and Meatballs with Fries which cost less than €12 £10) in total. They only accept cash. Wow! The portion was very generous and we couldn 't finish them off. It was flavoursome and homely. It 's not a restaurant but a canteen which I think it 's even better to experience the 'local culture ' for those tourists like us. Eat like the locals! Definitely recommend to try out this place and advise to go for ½ portion instead.

Friendly service and good location, enough space for many visitors. Coffee is ok and prices are fair. Cakes are...well...not for me, I would not sell those...

The food was very good and the portions sizes were worth for the price. Friendly staffs and the quality and ambiance was very nice. Overalls a nice experience
