Second portion: chicken... read more We ordered 3 portions and 1 dessert. One portion: chicken pocket with cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, boiled potatoes and mushroom sauce. Second portion: chicken cutlet with cheese and french fries. The third portion is a half portion: chicken chop with cheese, mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. Sweet strawberry soup with ice cream. You can see all the dishes in the pictures. The food was excellent. Chicken tender and juicy, spices in perfect amount. The fries were more like potato rolls and they tasted great. The mushroom sauce was the best we've had. It is also possible to get half portions, which is very useful because even a half portion is quite large and filling. The menu is full of delicacies, both appetizers, main dishes and sweets all sounded tempting. There are also vegetarian options which also sounded good even for non-vegetarians. Prices are good. Compared to Riga, very advantageous. I paid around 40 euros for 3 portions, dessert, 3 drinks. The only downside to this place is that there are not many tables and it is not easy to call to make a reservation. The service is kind, the rooms are nicely decorated and tidy.
