Caruso’s Italian Kitchen - Tujunga

The salad had very little lettuce and wasn't good, my wife's clam chowder was cold as if it had just come out of the fridge. The cioppino had a weird taste and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich I ordered was missing bell peppers. We asked to speak to the owner about our order but he refused to talk to us, which we found unprofessional. Overall, it was a bad Mother's Day dinner. It seems like when the owner starts cooking, the experience is bad. I do not recommend this place, the prices are too high for the treatment we received.

WORST lasagna I’ve ever had in my entire life!!! Im 40y/o. How do you not put ricotta in your lasagna?? How do you not have onions in your ground beef?Skip this placeNo chefs works here apparently.

I am very disappointed and angry. We have been coming to this restaurant for more than 4 years at least once a month and they have never charged us for automatic gratitude. As far as it had been explained to us, it was only for a party of more than 6. But today they charged for it and not only that but they brought me a dish that was for my little daughter when almost all of us were finishing eating since it was forgotten by the waitress and told us that we would have a discount which I never saw on my receipt and to make matters worse they were charging me for an extra pitcher of beer. The waitress's name is Sonia

This restaurant used to be very cool! The food was delicious. However, it has now transformed into more of a typical American bar. Nonetheless, they still serve very good food!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but it's the staff that truly sets it apart. Melissa, Nancy, Corey, Hailey, and the rest of the team are what make this place amazing. It's a wonderful spot to have a good time with your family.
