We then shared a delicious ravioli with... read more We had a wonderfull dinner at this restaurant during our stay in Salento. We started with the antipasti which was great. We then shared a delicious ravioli with burrata. As a main course I had slow cooked octupus which was also grilled with zucchini paste on the side. My boyfriend had a perfectly grilled steak. A very nice experience and super friendly staff that speaks English. We will definately return.

Yo... read more We got here upon a suggestion from locals. No regrets! It’s a simple restaurant offering in one side one of the best pizza we ever had in the south of Italy. You can customise a lot, you can ask, as we did, pizza stesa bene … which is not much Neapolitan style but rather roman style, thin and crispy. I asked a bianca with alici a fine cottura (better! and was like having a crostino romano. As a starter we had two tarallo fritto, one with burrata and capocollo di martina franca that was SUPER! My wife had Tarallo and mozzarella plus parma ham, excellent as well (but mine was better . We had a primitivo red wine, almost 15 degrees, that improved substantially our happiness. The restaurant also serves buns and pucce with hamburgers… forget standard style, these are 100% home made a-z. We say it passing by but were too full to try. Hope next time. Price… insignificant really. Only for locals apparently, no tourists around. We’ll come again! Thanks for serving us with a smile that only in Salento you could receive
