The restaurant has a warm, inviting, and clean atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff that make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, though it could benefit from more attention to presentation, as customers do eat with their eyes. What Kain R Heinlein doesn't like about Del's:
It feels like this restaurant is geared towards an older, loyal clientele who prefer milder flavors and healthier options, and perhaps it should be marketed accordingly. To make matters worse, there was no veterans discount available, and the cashier was a passive-aggressive young man who appeared to have a germaphobic attitude. Great dinner experience..... Yvonne was our server....she was helpful and attentive. I ordered the carnitas tacos with rice and beans. They were perfectly prepared and very tasty. They had a great selection of local beers. Well worth the reasonable price.Food: 5/5
This is a great spot on the old route 66 in a quiet little town off highway 40. Good food, great service, I just wish the portions were a bit bigger. Try the green sauce, it goes with everything!Food: 5/5
Outdoor seating was right on the main road to see the historical buildings and cars going by. Food was good, and service was good.
Passing through NM, looking for somewhere to eat, saw the yelp reviews for Del's and decided to give the place a try! The food and the service were both great! We'll definitely stop here next time we are passing through!
We enjoyed our food, but not necessarily a must-try. Everything could have used a little more salt, which isn't something I expect to say. Our server was very nice and helpful. The beer battered green Chiles were our favorite part. Bathrooms left something to be desired. The restaurant was very busy, but we still received our food promptly.
