Trident Grill III in Tucson is a must-visit restaurant with its large portions, kind and attentive staff, and delicious food. The nachos with beef, salsa, and avocado lime sauce were incredibly good, along with the gumbo and clam chowder. The Cuban sandwich, cheeseburger, and huge sides of onion rings were exceptional as well. The service was top-notch, even during busy nights. The extensive beer selection and tasty drinks add to the enjoyable dining experience. The mushroom Swiss with Impossible Burger patty is a must-try for vegetarians. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Portions were huge. I had the clam chowder and Southwest Caesar Salad and my husband had the Maui Wowie Burger. I would highly recommend both. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely go backwhen we?re back in the area.
It?s all hands on deck at the Trident Grill III where the service is over the top and the food and drink will torpedo any appetite! Our recent stop was on the recommendation of a friend who promised to walk the plank if we weren?t satisfied. Sufficeto say we could not have had a more pleasant time. Our sandwiches (a Cuban and a cheeseburger) and huge sides of onion ringswere simply exceptional. We?re not into beer selections, but we were impressed with the robust menu of lagers and ales. Weenjoyed a lemonade and an ice tea. The quality of our meals was high and the tab was very, very reasonable. The service is 5stars. It?s full speed ahead for the Trident the next time we have a hankering for classic tavern food!
Our waitress Kaytlynn was fantastic. She was friendly and very personable. We shared a large nacho with beef and had their salsa and avocado lime sauce on the side. Oh let me tell you how incredibly delicious it all was. The salsa had such a wonderfulroasted tomato taste that I just loved. And the avocado lime sauce was superb. The nachos were very good and HUGE! I loved thefreshly made tortilla chips. I also noticed a waitress named Alexis who was also very attentive to her customers, but reallyimpressed me when she asked the people at the table behind me if they wanted glasses of water to take with them. The chef wasvery obliging when I had asked for a sample of their gumbo and clam chowder. I had never had gumbo before but it was good. Thechowder would have tasted better had it not only smelled burnt but had a slight burnt taste to it also. It was not the best I'veever had, but I would eat it again if not burnt. And the drink called Tucson Tap Water was tasty. And I don't care for gin orvodka but it was good.
If you?re a vegetarian and looking for some delicious burger, you must try Mushroom Swiss with impossible burger patty at Trident grill! Had the same menu a month back and went there again this week. Would love to visit soon!
If you have low expectations, then go right in. The place is quite dirty, food projections on surrounds and dust accumulated. Very stuffy air, no air circulation or air-conditioning. We were a party of four and none of us were happy with our choices. The vegan burger had no mushrooms and no onions available. The burgers were not cooked as demanded. All items on plates were poor quality, tomatoes were far from being ripe in the Caprese and barely any seasoning. French fries and onion rings were bad. This server was not focused on our requests and we even got the credit card and bill of another table dropped on ours… The place is rundown and it might’ve been a great place a long time ago… I will never go back, even less, recommend to anybody.
