The last time we were... read more While it doesn't have as big of a menu as Casa Molina, the staples are all here. This location provides ample seating and parking as well. The last time we were here was with a party of 11, it went pretty smoothly. My only comment about the food is that they put green olives in the tamales so if that's your thing, have at it.

I've lived in many different places all over our wonderful country, and I've tried local Mexican restaurants in every town I've been in (or near), and I've never found one that compares with El Molinito. Now there were good ones, some were pretty terrific, but in my opinion, they weren't as good as my El Molinito. When I lived out of state, my dad would call and tease me that he was enjoying his meal from El Molinito, and I was dying inside because I missed it so much. Now that I'm back home, I stop in often... and I'm in heaven. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is so friendly and attentive. To me, El Molinito is a highlight of living in Tucson.
