Famous Dave's -b-que - Tucson

I recently decided to grab some lunch and stopped by Famous Dave's, as I'd heard good things about their food. However, when I saw the price for a sandwich without any sides, I should have left. I ended up ordering a burnt ends sandwich for $9.78, but when I got home, I discovered it was basically a sandwich filled with fat and hardly any meat. I'm now ordering from another restaurant because I can't eat that! Absolutely disgusting! I want my money back—zero stars!

This location is an absolute embarrassment to all the other famous Dave’s that are out there a couple of years ago, I had to throw burnt ends away because they were so disgusting and hard that I couldn’t even eat them so the day after returning from Phoenix and having my birthday dinner at the location at arrowhead, I came back to Tucson, wanting some ribs and some corn muffins when I got home, the ribs look good, but the corn muffins are old, burnt, dry, crusty, and when I called to tell the most dissatisfaction they acted as if they were surprised like they weren’t the ones that put these nasty, crusty old, burnt corn muffins into my box and sent me on my way and told me to have a good day. If I owned Famous Dave’s, I would be extremely embarrassed by this location. This famous Daves Xpress is nothing like any of the other locations. The other famous Dave’s are not Xpress they’re not rushed they take their time they care about the quality of their food and their customers I don’t know what’s wrong with this location, but it needs to be a complete re-hall and everybody inside either needs to be let go or retrain and the food needs to be done over the prices are way too hard to be selling mediocre food

Good BBQ, good price. Kind of a small place. They ran out of potato salad on our first visit, which is kind of a bummer. I'll take Dave's over Rudi's or Brushfire, I'll tell you that.

Amazing flavor, great portion and unbeatable value. This place is a hidden gem. I especially appreciated the quality service from staff member, Mike, and the excellent manager. Highly recommended.

Meat is often left out, allowing flies to land on it for hours before it’s wrapped or stored, and sometimes it's left uncovered for days, drying out, only to be packaged and served to customers. They cut corners at every opportunity to save money, compromising customer satisfaction and safety in the process. If you care about your health, I cannot emphasize enough: DO NOT EAT HERE! As a former employee, I feel morally obligated to warn others not to support this company.
