Food is just okay. Expensive for what you get. First time there can be confusing. Was with a friend and we grabbed the only clean table (out of six or so empty ones) and then realized we had to go to the counter (in the back of the restaurant) to order our lunch. Needless to say, we lost our table. The salsa bar is pretty good, but not enough to get me back into the restaurant. View all feedback.
Sirloin tacos were really good. I love the variety of salsas they have. The red salsa was super spicy and good.Food: 5/5
The food and front service at this restaurant were terrible. However, the bartender, drinks, and prices were good. I may consider returning for the bar, despite the dive atmosphere. Two months ago, the drinks and prices were good. Overall, I would rate the food 1 out of 5.
I went to El Taco Tote for the first time today and had a fantastic experience. The staff was very helpful, the food was delicious and made to order, and the portions were generous. The corn tortillas were warm and chewy, the charro beans were flavorful and some of the best I've ever had, the baked potato was perfectly cooked and came with a large dollop of butter, the chips and salsa were tasty, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. We will definitely be going back, and next time we plan to get a takeout family meal after shopping at Sam's Club.
The food was ok .. I got 1 chicken taco and a order of beans and rice. The taco was flavorful .. the beans were good the rice was just ok. Now as for the service.. it's not a place you come to if you're looking for that. I thanked them more than they thanked me. The workers looked like they would rather be somewhere else and didn't care how it came across. When it comes to atmosphere there is none.. a too with stalls and a salsa and condiment bar in the middle. It ran me $10 and honestly the food is not good enough for me to go back. They need better customer service. Period! That makes all the difference.
The restaurant was open, but all of the female employees were in the back laughing and drinking coffee. They didn't bother turning on the lights to the menu, there was no one at the front counter, and the burners weren't even on. I decided to stop in because I needed something in my system after my chemo treatment, but it was a mistake. It's disappointing to see such poor customer service.
