Reviews summary
Bombolé offers a vibrant Latin-Indian fusion experience with a variety of flavorful empanadas and fresh, well-seasoned sides like lentils and rice. The flaky, buttery pastries shine in both savory and sweet options, appealing to vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Customers praise the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the inviting, colorful atmosphere, including charming outdoor seating. While some find portions small and prices on the higher side, the unique sauces and refreshing drinks, such as hibiscus tea and chai, add value. Limited parking and occasional menu shortages may affect visits, but overall, Bombolé is a must-try destination for adventurous food lovers.

What Elmore Thompson dislikes about Bombole:
I drove 30 minutes to eat at Bombole, but they were out of everything I wanted to order, like chicken and some sides. The bowls are expensive, so I expected a decent portion, but when I saw them, they were surprisingly small. I decided to leave and told them never mind. I felt bad, but I didn’t want to overpay, especially since they didn’t have what I originally wanted. I calculated the cost for my boyfriend and me,... View all feedback.

I drove 30 minutes to eat here but they were out of everything I wanted to order like chicken and some sides. The bowls are pricey so I figured they would be a nice portion but when I saw the bowls- they were so small. I ended up leaving and told themnever mind. I felt bad but I wasn?t about to get ripped off especially if they didn?t have what I intended to order. Icalculated how much it would cost for my boyfriend and I to eat here and it would have been over $45 for 2 small bowls and a fewempanadas. The empanadas did look delicious. I should have tried one. Maybe next time.
I have been wanting to try this spot forever and I'm SO glad I did. Walking into the restaurant the aroma was wonderful. My family and I got the sweet empanadas (guava cream cheese, apple and banana Nutella). They were outstanding and the crust wassuper fresh, flaky and buttery. Customer service was great as well. I cannot wait to go back and taste some of their savoryflavors! Thanks Bombolé! You are truly a gem.
Not much to say, It's just delicious and if you are around, you must try this place. Best craft empanadas I've ever had. My favorite the spinach and feta cheese! Also their cilantro souce is great!
This place has well earned its high rating. I?ve been here a few times now for their bomboles, tea, and most recently their Chicken Tikka Masala bowl with Honduran Cabbage. Every single time, the food has been absolutely delicious, service lightningfast, staff nothing less than totally stellar. If I could give more stars, I would without hesitation. Best place to eatdowntown.
This restaurant truly deserves its high rating. I've visited several times for their bomboles, tea, and most recently the Chicken Tikka Masala bowl with Honduran cabbage. Each time, the food has been absolutely delicious, the service has been lightning-fast, and the staff have been nothing short of outstanding. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. It's the best place to eat downtown!

I absolutely love Bombole! The flavors are delightful and fresh, with just the right amount of spice. I visited for the first time this past Monday, and the customer service was outstanding. I’m definitely going to become a regular here because both the food and the service are simply amazing.
I ordered the Bomba combo and chose the spinach and mushroom empanada. However, I could only taste spinach and didn't notice any mushrooms. The cilantro sauce wasn't really to my liking; it tasted a bit off and sour. On the other hand, the jicama salad was very fresh and delicious, as were the lentils. The staff were extremely friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations.
I love it here! The empanadas are filled with flavor and always satisfying. My favorites in order:1. Pork2. Chicken3. Breakfast chorizo4. Breakfast ham and cheeseThey all pair nicely with their green sauce (Don’t remember what it’s called).Their chicken masala, also very delicious with their rice and black beans.I don’t think I’ve ever disliked anything I’ve tried on their menu.
Delicious! I didn't realize how much I needed latin-indian fusion in my life until I came here! I wish I lived in Tucson so I could eat here all the time. I tried the pork empanada, the paneer empanada, and the chicken empanada, and you can't go wrong (my favorite is the pork empanada). The beans and lentils both had really good flavor, although I'm not as much into the texture of whole lentils. Try the empanada sauce if you tolerate heat! The chai is a well made iced drink even without adding sugar
