This is a wonderful restaurant! I was there on a Thursday night and unexpectedly joined in a line dance after my meal. The staff was really friendly. I enjoyed the fish and chips, while Liz chose the steak salad. View all feedback.
What Minh T doesn't like about Bushwhackers:
I visited this restaurant for my wife's friend's birthday. It was an interesting experience, and overall, it wasn't too bad. However, it definitely gets quite crowded, making it challenging to find a... View all feedback.
I had many great experiences here for a happy hour on week nights. If your luck getting Kate as your server, you have a wonderful experience. But today after work I got a new server and on a single evening she managed to delete all positive experiences. I'll have a tough time to go back after my good hour visit today. Unprofessional and attentive are everything I can to describe the waitress I treated tonight.
Good place to go country dancing. There's not many places around Portland that you can go dance at, but Bushwackers is a fun time. Not rating 5 star because many other country dance halls have more amenities etc, but this is a fun place to have a good time.
Nice country bar. They have line dancing every thu, fri and sat. Great crowd. Unfortunately, if you don't know how to line dance, you will feel like a fish out of water there. Though I love dancing and can dance for hours, I fail completely at line dancing. Been there 5 times till date, but never been able to line dance or enter the dance floor, and become tired to just watching the same old people dance and not able to do nothing. Hope they arrange lessons here. I like this place, but I feel useless there, as I have no clue how do line dance. Someone needs to help people like us!! It's a great place, certainly recommend going there.
Great country club. Has a great outside seating area that is perfect for northwest weather appreciation.
I came to this place around 10pm on a Thursday. Did not know there was a cover charge and security must have been napping because I walked through the door and around the bar and was waiting to order for about 10min before a bouncer approached and let me know there was a cover charge, which he said i could pay along with my first drink, after seeing my ID. I waited another several minutes before a bartender rudely informed me that I needed to leave unless I paid my cover charge, and she would take that charge and come back to me for my order, but folks, this was done extremely and intentionally rudely. I 'm not the professional security person responsible for carding and collecting cover. I honestly did not know I 'd walked through that checkpoint and was at the bar for several minutes before a bouncer approached. Seems I found a gap in your system. You have incompetent security and rude servers. My work buddies might drink here but you can kiss my money goodbye.
