What Santiago Stark doesn't like about Claim Jumper Tualatin:
Food quality disappointing. requests for butter for a baked potato forgotten. Offering to send butter home to go after meal has been concluded and bill has been paid is a bit disconnected. View all feedback.
Have sat the Father's Day with my son. they only did the buffet. the service was slow (water, cleaning the table after we have stood up to get more food, get the check) which does not make any sense as they did not take our order or have to serve us. the food was good. large selection like eier, huhn, speck, sausage, eier benedict, obst, garnelen, desserts, etc. the eating was hot where it had to be and delicious.
The food was delicious! great service! friendly staff! many choices in the menu. can not wait to eat here again!
I had a hard time writing this review. my wife and I celebrated our jubilee on 19. which we spent over 100 on our meals. porter house steak was very spiced, but cooked perfectly we had to add salt and pepper to taste it well. the lobster mac and spargel were dirty, but we were removed from the bill. our first waitress just left and took over someone else who was very polite and great. I don't know if we'll come back to ask for a jumper. waitress and service were great overall, but eating was not good for how much we spent.
It had been a while, so the menu has changed a bit. Many of the items we've enjoyed in the past are gone, but there are new items to try.I had to try the new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The amount of heat on this is just about perfect, which can't be said about sandwiches at other places. The coleslaw helps to tame the heat and gives a nice flavor to the sandwich. I had the roasted vegetables as my side and they were very good. The only negative is the price, which is a bit high for a chicken sandwich, but in line with their other menu items. The side of vegetables was also quite small, and I would have gladly had at least a double portion. The restaurant was not very busy, so we were able to be seated right away. Service was friendly and well within expected levels. I see no reason not to recommend Claim Jumper.
It wasn't very busy when we got there but then got very busy. Our server was fantastic, very accommodating and even though new, attentive and found answers to any of our questions.Unfortunately we weren't real impressed with the food. The clam chowder was salty. The salmon Oscar was good as was the assorted vegetables except for the asparagus. We don't know what they did but it was tough and overcooked. The Mac and cheese was lukewarm. The lobster claws BLT had very little lobster. I asked for it disassembled but instead of lettuce tomato I got coleslaw, the bacon was undercooked, the parmesan cheese bread was very good but I didn't care for the shoestring fries. We got dessert to go, carrot cake and chocolate mother lode cake. They were both pretty good but homemade is better. It was an interesting experience but the food for the price just didn't do much for us.Unfortunately, our server forgot our discount of $10 for joining the rewards program.
