Zest has been closed for a few months now.
I like Zest Cafe. It is the only Cafe of this type in Weipa, so locals should get in and support it. The coffee is good, and a good range of food options. Any time I'm in Weipa Herritage Plaza, the first thing I do is grab a coffee from Zest. I definitely recommend Zest, and hope more people get through the door to help support local business.
Ive only recently moved into town and have found Zest to supply amazing coffees, shakes and iced chocolates. Cafe is always clean and well presented considering the amount of dust in the air. Have found the female owner to be a lovely lady who is never shy of a conversation. Highly recommend stopping here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40
No idea about customer service. Been there for the 3 days I’ve been in Weipa for breakfast and 2 coffee’s. Today I stayed longer sorting out issues using my phone. I was asked by the female owner what I was still doing there. And was made to feel that I needed to leave, even though I was the only person in the outside area with about 10 empty tables. She said she is selling the place and is trying to make money. This is not how you do well at either of those endeavors. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else bother with that poor attitude of management.
If a four star rating means 'I liked it ' then yes I liked it. No problems with drinks or food. They were good. I 've never had bad food here over the years they 've been open and Zest has had the same owner over that time.Good move on their part to have free water and glasses readily available to those eating in.
