Walking distance from the camping ground, It's located in the Weipa shopping centre. You can dine in which is nice, and it is fully air conditioned. Best coffee and breakfast in Weipa

The outdoor seating at this restaurant is okay. The staff is very cheerful and makes a nice cup of coffee. The banana bread is great, and the muffins are decent. Overall, a nice find.

A friend suggested going to Zest as she thought there was a new chef. I enjoy a smashed avo and thought at $21, it should be good. Came out quickly, but was told they had run out of tomatoes so I missed out. Had to chase up lemons too. Looked at the green salad mix hidden under the Turkish bread and noticed it was quite old. Started eating the avo. It was average. Then had a good look at the salad. When we spread it out on our plates, it showed how bad it was. Even the smell was bad then. It was like we were given the dregs. I brushed off the non smiling staff, but what was served was terrible and they knew it. Stayed well away from us. Very disappointed overall with Zest. Especially when they could have picked up fresh salad from Woolworths right next door. They are not recommended at the moment. Maybe get properly trained staff because if they keep serving that type of food, someone could end up quite ill. Yes, I took a photo in case of rebuttals.

Pleasant place for a morning coffee of chocolate along with a sweet treat. Staff were efficient but took a while to become friendly.
