Mex On Main - Trumbull

We ordered over the phone and clearly communicated our order. When we picked up our food, we received the wrong items - including salsa instead of the guacamole we ordered. Despite our attempts to explain the mistake, we were told we were wrong. We were given a replacement dish for free, but when we got home we found that the entire order was incorrect. The person who helped us was confident in their mistake, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. We left an 18% tip, but now feel that our $30 was wasted on food we don't even like. This was a terrible customer service experience and I would give it a negative 5-star rating if I could.

This was our second time visiting and we were not disappointed. Five stars!

I was really impressed with the appetizers at this restaurant and I will definitely return because they were amazing.

Everything was freezing. bark meat on nacho meat was not cooked. no taste, no spices

We are building a house around the corner and decided to give Mex on Main at try. Overall, it was a very pleasant fast causal Tex Mex that reminded me a bit of a Baja Fresh. Thr crunchy tacos were crispy with well seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The rice was fluffy and nicely seasoned. The black beans were meh, but a liberal application of hot sauce and pico helped.The salsa bar had a good selection of options, although I wasn't a fan of sweet tasting classic salsa. The other salsas was more to my taste and a good companion to free chips.
