The Bakery - Truckee

I ordered a bagel topped with smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomato, capers, red onion, and cucumber. While it wasn't a traditional bagel topping, I thought it was delicious. The lox was of exceptional quality—delicate and flavorful, without the tough or overly sour strands that sometimes come with cold-smoked salmon—and there was a generous portion. The bagel itself was house-made and excellent. My wife had the breakfast sandwich, which featured fluffy eggs and a generous amount of filling on a marble bagel. She was very pleased with it. The prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch in Truckee.

My mocha was expertly made, and the baked goods were fresh and delicious. Although there was a line, it moved quickly. We stopped by before a long day on the road—thank you for a great experience!

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in town, and the breakfast sandwiches and smoothies were fantastic. My wife absolutely loved a peanut butter smoothie. Fortunately, we also got lucky and didn't have to wait in a long line on either day.

Love the baked here and my friend is happy because they have a great selection of gluten-free tasty.

I've had this key lime pie 3 times now. I used to make handmade pie, I've tried a lot of pies. This is hands down the best, light and airy key lime pie I've ever had in my life. The Graham cracker crust is thick and compacted. It doesn't appear to have any colorings added. I don't want to try other key lime pies now, I've found the one. The flavors are extremely balanced. I'm no food critic but it's just extremely delicious, everytime I've eaten it it's made me extremely happy and I wanted to give a special thank you to the ladies at the bakery.
