We went during the holiday season and they had everything all decorated with a tree by the fire and mulled wine on the menu. All the dishes dishes are made with local ingredients and theselection we tried (arugala salad, cauliflower soup, and a cheese board) were great. They were also extremely accommodating ofour gluten intolerant and celiac needs. We'll definitely be back, perhaps to check out one of the loved music nights.

I tried the meatbal... read more The food at Philosophy is outstanding! My wife ordered a green salad that was the best I've ever had, and her ceviche was equally fantastic. I tried the meatball appetizer, which was good, but the real highlight for me was the shrimp gumbo. Everything is prepared with local ingredients, and it truly makes a difference! This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites in Truckee!
