We had an excellent night, real Italian food clearly made with good quality, fresh produce. The staff was enthusiastic and the setting outside was great. We had a mix of the antipasti a la carte and the suggestions du chef followed by gnocchi with truffe d’été, risotto girolles (both daily specials and a luscious seafood and crustacean pasta. The children were smitten with their ice cream desserts, which had in their... View all feedback.
What Piererminio Fiore doesn't like about Caffe Cosi:
We went in here because they had a pretty extensive card. $21.95 choice was okay. At the first corridor, we actually regretted our choice at restaurant. We chose the carpaccio of sint jacobsschelp. These were a few slices, which were baked or cooked with a lot of slap, which wasn't well washed. Like a piece of meat. This one was still too raw and when I passed that, they took my plate and got the meat all fried back.... View all feedback.
We have been going for about 8 years the food and presentation is lovely Very friendly restaurant at always booked the snails and risotto were divine a slice of Italy in Troyes
We stopped here for lunch on our way north to calais. Friendly staff, delicious simple menu. Fabulous silky pasta. Shop section full of spoiling treats too.
Had supper here. Loved the decor and the ambience. Very warm and welcoming. The menu felt a bit unusual but our lovely waitress, Emma, was very helpful in explaining how it all worked. She made some great recommendations too. All the food was delicious and the service from everyone was excellent. A really pleasant evening. Very happy to recommend.
We ended up here after 18 days in France and were not disappointed We booked th same day and ate in the courtyard we settled for the five course set meal and la chrima Christi white and red wine The starter was sublime as was the duck and cheese we had brandies and limoncello The meal was Devine Just under 250 Euros for three we will Go back really lovely service and great staff made this a good last meal
My wife and I were in Troyes for the long weekend. I had never been before and thought the city was lovely. I looked on trip advisor for some restaurant recommendations and found the Caffe Cosi. We arrived early(ish) 7pm and weren't sure it was open at first as there was no one in there. We were assured they were open and offered the courtyard or inside. The menu is not extensive but what there was was delicious. I had snails which came in small terrines with a crusty base each and foie gras ravioli. There was a sicilian chardonnay at a very reasonable price and the service was attentive but not overly so. Was half full by time we left so maybe the people of Troyes just eat later. highly recommend
