A great place to have dinner on a weekend or weeknight. The food is excellent, as is the service. Special mention goes to Enzo, who even came to greet us at the end of our meal – a very thoughtful touch that will leave us with a very positive impression of the restaurant.
You feel good in this cozy, comfortable, and classy place; the food is good, the decor is in keeping with the walls and the history of this old house, and the cellars also offer superb rooms with modern decor for receptions, seminars, and other events.
Dinner in a lovely setting. Excellent service. Delicious dishes (asparagus and sea bass fillet). I highly recommend it.
We chose this restaurant largely because of its kerb appeal, having noticed it the week before and really liking the look of the upstairs dining area. We specifically requested an upstairs table when booking, but on arrival we were quickly shown downstairs despite available tables upstairs, which was a little disappointing. Service was somewhat slow, although the gentleman serving us was polite and kind throughout. We did encounter an issue with our order. We had asked for the fish saffron risotto without courgette, but instead were served plain boiled rice. Had we known the dish couldn’t be modified, we would have happily chosen something else, as the risotto itself was the main reason we ordered it. At times we felt slightly like an inconvenience, which was a shame as the staff were otherwise pleasant. That said, the tapenade and the mushroom risotto were both very good. Perhaps our expectations were influenced by having pictured dining upstairs, so the experience started slightly on the back foot for us
