Always great service and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. They do authentic Japanese with quality ingredients Vegetarian options: They had lots for me as a vegetarian and even made sure there was no chicken stock or other animal byproducts used in making my portion of the dinner! View all feedback.

What Mel A Nie dislikes about Sakai:
I visited this restaurant for dinner with friends, and overall, the food was quite tasty and the waitress was friendly. Half of us ordered hibachi, which was fairly pricey, but the chef lacked the enthusiasm you'd expect from a fusion restaurant experience. Such a fun experience especially the hibachi side. I tried a Japanese beer and my finace' had a Japanese whiskey. Both very good.
